Most RUG ROOT rugs are handmade and custom-made, so processing times vary depending on the product category and design complexity. Below are general maximum timelines to help set expectations:

Hand-Tufted Rugs:
10–15 days for simple designs, up to 4–6 weeks for complex or heavy designs
Hand-Knotted Rugs:
Approximately 6–8 weeks, depending on design and detailing
Jute Rugs:
Typically 1–2 weeks

Processing times for other categories such as Berber Moroccan Rugs, PET Yarn Rugs, Dhurries, and similar collections are mentioned on the respective product pages and may vary based on design complexity and order volume.

These timelines represent maximum estimates, and we always aim to complete and ship orders earlier whenever possible.

Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or public holidays. During periods of high order volume, processing or dispatch may take slightly longer. Any significant delay will be communicated promptly via email or phone.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

We offer free shipping on all orders.

Estimated delivery times after dispatch are as follows:

Domestic (India): 3–7 business days
International (USA, UK, Europe, Turkey, Japan, China, Singapore, UAE & worldwide): 5–10 business days

Shipping Partners

We work with reliable international and domestic courier partners, including FedEx, UPS, DHL, and other professional carriers. The shipping partner is selected based on destination and service efficiency to ensure safe and timely delivery.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

RUG ROOT covers outward shipping costs only.

Any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or local charges imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.
These charges are determined by local authorities and are outside the control of RUG ROOT.

Failure to pay customs duties or refusal to accept delivery does not qualify for a refund.

Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your tracking number.
Tracking details generally become active within 24 hours of dispatch.

Damages & Shipping Issues

RUG ROOT is not liable for products lost or damaged during transit.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact the courier company directly to file a claim. We strongly recommend retaining all original packaging and damaged items, as they may be required by the courier for claim processing.
